Safety Management 

Construction Realty Safety Group (CR Safety) presents a ‘holistic’ approach to safety for clients, offering a complete, integrated package to meet regulatory requirements or insurance program (OCIP, CCIP) needs or specification requirements. Our services include Plan and Program Development, Safety Inspection, Safety Management and Safety Training.



  • Plan and Program Development

    Whether it’s the Chapter 33 requirement of the NYC Building Code or OSHA 1926 requirements, CR Safety engineers, develops and provides all required plans and programs, including noise mitigation plans. CR Safety is also involved in developing the prototype of FDNY re-fire construction safety plans as is now required for construction projects.
  • Inspection/Safety Management

    CR Safety offers the appropriate certified professional (Site Safety Manager, Site Safety Coordinator, Fire Safety Manager, Concrete Safety Manager or NYS Loss Control Personnel) to manage safety on a technical or administrative level. Information is transmitted via daily logs, deficiency notices, recommendation logs, safety alerts, safety meetings and accident reports, all sent electronically.
  • Physical Protection

    The CR Safety team provides everything necessary to safeguard your project, whether it’s vertical and horizontal netting, shaft protection, or various rough carpentry needs. CR Safety recently completed, along with EWBC, the first construction erection and maintenance of the PERI System in New York City.


Executive Leadership

Matt Caruso

As President of CR Safety, Matt oversees the company’s operations and development. Matt is responsible for overseeing all project management and contract administration, financial oversight, development and implementation of new policies and procedures.

Christopher Cox
Executive Vice President of Operations

As Executive Vice President of Operations, Christopher Cox oversees the day-to-day operations and is responsible for developing the strategic operating plans that reflect the long-term objectives and priorities of CR Safety. Christopher’s duties include oversight of all staff performance and development goals, implementing and maintaining financial control systems as well as directing strategies for the profitable growth and operation of the company.

Frank Marino
Director of Safety

As Director of Safety, Frank Marino works with the President on all site safety and labor projects. Frank is responsible for overseeing the quality and effectiveness of site safety work, business development strategy, staff recruitment and development, and client relations to ensure that all work is performed to their satisfaction.
